Saigon Outcast and Work Hard Play Hard got back to collaborate again for their second ‘Thrift shop 2 – Make it a better place’ event.
The aims of the event are to raise awareness of “Recycle, reuse and reduce” as well as to collect useful items to donate to charity organization for people in need from the local community.
What do you have to do? Simple, bring to Saigon Outcast clothes, accessories and English books that you do not need and swap them for other items. Kids’ clothes are very welcome as well.
Please make sure that the things you would like to exchange and/or donate are in good condition, clean and labelled (male, female, accessories).
The items will be displayed in these three different categories to help people’s browsing and exchange enjoyable and fun. All the items that are not exchanged will then be donated.
Also money donation for the charity is welcome, if you do not have anything to exchange.
The event will last all day Saturday and it will include performances which will be confirmed later on.
Shopping, relaxing in SGOC garden sipping a cocktail and actively be involved in the community life, that’s not a bad way to spend a Saturday.
