One of Nokia’s most iconic products – the 3310 cell phone – is set to make a comeback later this month.
According to Channel News Asia, plans for the office relaunch of the mobile will be announced at the Mobile World Congress on February 26 in Barcelona, Spain. The news outlet also added that HMD Global Oy, the Finnish tech firm which currently holds exclusive rights to Nokia phone products, is planning to sell the rebooted version of the 3310 for US$73, or VND1.6 million.
Apart from reintroducing the Nokia 3310, HMD will also present their latest creations under the Nokia brand, namely the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 at the Barcelona convention.
Released for the first time in 2000 to replace the 3210, the Nokia 3310 has since earned a reputation worldwide for being virtually indestructible.
