[Renderings] Here's What the Upcoming Hilton Saigon Hotel Will Look Like

Hilton Hotels & Resorts is developing 11 properties all over Vietnam, including two in Saigon.

Back in July 2016, we bid farewell to the first Chambre de Commerce de Saïgon, one of the city’s oldest structures, located at Me Linh Square in downtown Saigon. The heritage building was built in 1867-1868 and was the last remaining colonial building at the square.

It was demolished to make way for a new Hilton Hotel, which will be the brand's first in Saigon when finished. Eight of the hotel chain’s projects in Vietnam will be in cooperation with BRG Group, a local real estate and finance conglomerate. According to a press release by Hilton, Hilton Saigon will feature an 820-square-meter ballroom and 1,488 square meters of meeting space.

In November last year, the company announced another hotel project in Saigon, reports VnEconomy. The second hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Saigon, will occupy a lot in the city’s golden area at 23-35 Ham Nghi Street. At the same meeting with Saigon officials, the company also made known that Vung Tau is getting a Hilton presence with the 250-room DoubleTree by Hilton Vung Tau, just 800 meters away from Bai Truoc Beach.
