For its ninth episode, the founders of Hanoi-based English-language podcast The Renovation Generation recorded their first-ever live interview in front of an audience at Hanoi's Manzi Art Space as part of the Women's Storytelling Salon.
In the following 12-minute clip, Renovation Generation narrator Maia Do sits down with Duong Vu Hoang Anh, a young wedding planner trying to build her career in a country where wedding planners are few and far between.
During their conversation, Hoang Anh talks about wanting to be a princess, advising young brides and the Vietnamese millenials whom she believes are a “lost generation” trying to find their way amid the rapid changes of the country.
