From lush, green tea plantations stretching towards the horizon to islets dotting the ocean blue, flycam photography captures unique angles of Vietnam's landscapes in crisp, vivid images.
These photos are submissions to Vietnam's first-ever aerial photo contest, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Photographic Association (HOPA), Zing reports.
Drone equipment has become more accessible to Vietnamese in recent years, and with it came a rise in aerial photography, HOPA's representative Nguyen Thanh Tam shared with Sai Gon Giai Phong. According to Tam, these photos account for 10% of the works submitted to conventional photography competitions, so it was high time they had their own playing field.
The contest is accepting entries until August 5, 2017. Meanwhile, explore picturesque Vietnam through the photos below:
