Cookies and privacy choices
External media
YouTube, Facebook and article embeds load only after you allow them. Your choice applies to players across this browser. Thumbnails, map tiles and other images are separate external requests.
Players are blocked.
Blocking removes loaded players. It cannot remove cookies already set by another provider; use your browser settings to clear those.
Essential storage
The saigoneer_reader cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Display settings and seen-story state are stored in your browser. Clearing site data removes browser preferences and may sign you out.
Your external-media choice is stored under saigoneer-media-consent-v1 until you change it, clear site data or a new consent version is introduced. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice lasts for the current page session.
What these controls cover
They control embedded players in Reels, the Cinema Room, featured video and imported article iframes. They do not block ordinary images, YouTube thumbnails, maps, links you open, or all network requests.
Advertisements
Advertisements are delivered through Urbanist Network's Revive service when enabled. Cookie-free delivery requires separate server configuration and verification; the external-media choice is not advertising consent.
